Our internationally renowned training institute for aspiring professional dancers and dance teachers. Founded in 1939, the RWB holds the double distinction of being Canada’s premiere ballet company and the longest continuously operating ballet company in North America. 2019 marked the RWB’s 80th anniversary and in 2020 the RWB School Professional Division celebrates Pre-registration is mandatory for all students who wish to participate in an audition class, allowing us to monitor class sizes. The RWB School accepts video auditions through the world’s largest arts audition class network platform, Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet. We welcome auditions for the school year 2022-2023 from November 2021 to February 1st 2022. Audition outcome is usually distributed from mid February. Audition for the school year 2021-2022 is closed.

Since its foundation in 2001, it prepares up to 50 dancers a year for the big stages of the ballet world and offers over 300 children and young people a technical education in ballet and modern dance. The Royal Swedish Ballet’s history began in 1773, when King Gustav III founded the Swedish Opera. Under the directorship of Nicolas Le Riche, the Royal Swedish Ballet is today Sweden’s largest ballet company, with 68 full-time ballet dancers, consisting of principals, soloists and the corps de ballet. Matei is one of the eight winners of the Prix de Lausanne 2020. He also won the prize for the best Swiss candidate. As a result of his success at the Prix, the young dancer has been offered contracts with renowned companies such as the English National Ballet, the Royal Swedish Ballet and the Teatro alla Scala de Milano. The Royal Ballet School holds auditions across the UK and internationally.
